Glen View

Is a Luxurious Bed and Breakfast in the Heart of the Loch Lomond National Park.

It is situated in the Conservation Village of Luss on the West Side of the romantic Loch Lomond. It is a two minute walk from the shores of Loch Lomond.

Glenview looks onto the Luss Hills which rise to the west of the Village, whereas Ben Lomond the most southerly "Munroe" dominates the Loch in the North!

Luss Church, which is Church of Scotland, is a very popular venue for marriages. It was built by Sir James Colquhoun in memory of his father who was drowned in the Loch in December 1875. Luss is the ancestral home of Clan Colquhoun.

Glen View is ideally situated for anyone wishing to tour the Highlands or enjoy the local amenities which include Golf, Fishing, Hill Walking and Climbing. The Arrochar Alps include four Monroe's, mountains over 3000ft, and six Corbett's, the best known of which is the Cobbler. Ben Lomond is only minutes away by boat. The Loch is well known for its Water Sports. These include Wind Surfing, Sailing, excellent Water Skiing and Wake Boarding.

There are a number of well respected golf courses in the area including the World famous Loch Lomond which hosts the Scottish Open and the newly completed Carrick which also has a superb Spa with its' own infinity pool. Balloch and Helensburgh are the two nearest towns, they have superb shopping and restaurants, Helensburgh has the "Hillhouse", a Charles Rennie Macintosh Mansion which is open to visitors.

The village hosts a water taxi service to Balloch at the south of the Loch allowing visitors to travel to Glasgow by train or visit the Lomond Shores Shopping Centre.

Glen View is within walking distance of the Lodge on the Loch Hotel, the Colquhoun Arms Hotel. the Village Rest Restaurant . Coffee Shop. Village Shop, Purdies Restaurant and Snack Bar.

Glen View has been awarded "four stars" by the Scottish Tourist Board,

 and "five stars" by trip advisor.

Luss Cottages, Loch Lomond
